fonts-taml-tscu software package provides TSCu family of non Unicode fonts for Tamil script, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-taml-tscu
fonts-taml-tscu is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-taml-tscu package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-taml-tscu *
You will get with fonts-taml-tscu package name, version, architecture and description in a table
